Celebrate International Towel Day With Us!

Hi everybody!!

Trans Lives Matter is hosting our first joint event with Ingersoll Gender Center at the end of this month. We’ll be celebrating International Towel Day. That’s a world wide event allowing people to bond over the science fiction work of Douglas Adams.

We’ll be watching “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”, having good food, and a “Best Towel” contest. Nerds & fans unite!  Here’s more information:

Repair Revolution Needs Your Support!

Hello everybody! Today we’re doing a shout-out post to help a trans owned business here in Seattle that has supported us. Repair Revolution is looking for community based funding to expand their business. A successful repair shop, Eli and his employees have always gone above and beyond to serve people who have not been empowered to understand auto care.

Businesses from marginalized communities can’t often access traditional credit, like loans from mainstream banks. That is one of the reasons it’s harder to build up success. Congrats to Seattle’s Trans 100 Members!

Hooray! Trans Lives Matter wants to give a shout out to the Seattle trans* activists who made the first national Trans 100 list! They are:
